Can you believe that we are already in the last month of the 2023 year, getting ready for another Winter Solstice and whatever other holidays you celebrate? Not to mention we are at the juncture of closing one year and beginning a new one.

This is a great time to take stock of all the things that happened this year. Get out your calendar and write down all the standout events, accomplishments and experiences that marked your journey round the sun.

What were those intentions and goals you set out to accomplish this year, anyway? Remember: Thou art Goddess, so no shame in this review!

  • What challenges did you have to overcome? What surprises were there?
  • What were your proudest moments?
  • What positive new habits did you begin? What habits still need your attention?
  • What books inspired you?
  • How many vacations did you take?

Each year around this time, I get excited to start a new calendar/planner. But this year, I have to tell you, it has been a challenge for me to find the right one.

I don’t like the digital versions without dates. I want one that has all the lunar cycles, along with their astrological information AND places to write, vision, track and dream.

I am tempted to create a planner of my own, but it’s hard to believe one doesn’t already exist! (suggestions welcome) I’ve settled on the 2023-2024 “Making My Own Magic Planner” by Selen Fayer. Still, even this one isn’t quite exactly right.

Some of the new quarterly productivity calendars are great and you can always input the lunar/astro/wheel of the year details, or keep a second book just for this information. But wouldn’t it be nice to have it all in one place? (I’m curious what everyone else thinks about this. What do you want and need in your calendar/planner?)

Where we direct our energy is what we grow, and what we affirm and write down goes a long way to manifesting our vision. So whichever kind you choose, a planner is an excellent way to help make your intentions reality.

This time of year we use our calendars to plan our gift giving. And, let me suggest a unique, creative and useful gift: ORACLE CARDS. I have created a deck of oracle cards you may want to consider giving to your friends: The Goddess Inspired Life Oracle. Get a couple decks and share the positive Goddess energy of the new year!

The last new moon of the year will be in Sagittarius on the 12th, so get going Goddess!
