Listening to soothing music, mindfully chopping veggies or even doing dishes can be relaxing to the mind when you give yourself over to and fully experience the activity.

Placing a lavender eye pillow across your eyes for a few minutes while you rest or inhaling essential oils and lighting candles before you sit silently can be your way to access your inner vision.
